About Me
Kia Saskia Fix
Hoi, I am Kia a passionate yoga teacher who finds fulfillment in my practice. I skillfully combine the demands of everyday life with spiritual practice and conscious movement. With experience in a variety of yoga styles, I offer yoga classes in English and German.
I emphasise the importance of inner alignment and integrate yoga practices such as postures (Asanas), breathing techniques (Pranayama), Meditation (Dhyana) and yoga of sound (Nāda Yoga) to balance the body, mind and soul in the present moment.


Now in my early thirties, with a heart full of curiosity and calm, I share my passion for yoga through teaching and ongoing learning. I began my yoga journey in 2016, and it has had a profound transformative effect on me ever since, affecting me physically, mentally and spiritually. In 2023, I became a certified Hatha and Vinyasa yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Since then, I have obtained further certifications in Prenatal, Kids and Yin yoga. In 2025, I completed a 300-hour advanced teacher training course in Bali, also known as the Island of the Gods, where I deepened my practice of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, as well as Aerial and Ashtanga yoga.
When I’m not on the mat, you’ll most likely find me hiking through mountain trails, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, or getting creative at the pottery wheel. During the winter months, I sometimes swap my yoga mat for skis, snowboarding, or snowshoes. I’m deeply inspired by nature and love spending time outdoors in every season.
Originally from Stuttgart in Germany, I spent a transformative year living in Central America, an experience which profoundly affected my outlook on life. After living in several German cities, as well as Zurich and Basel, I moved to the beautiful Rhine Valley to live clouser to the mountains where I found my home. I am happily married and a proud cat mum to two adorable furballs who bring joy and mischief to our home.
Alongside my work as a yoga teacher, I am a Sustainability Manager, a role that is very close to my heart. I am passionate about integrating sustainable practices into the corporate world, strive to raise environmental awareness and promote circular economy.
